José Sacristán, “Rabaliano of theYear”

The actor shared the limelight with Paco Rabal in many films

The Association “Milana Bonita. Paco Rabal in our memory”, will continue
with the initiative that started last year and which they have named the Spanish actor Jose Sacristán “Rabaliano of the year”.

On the first occasion, in 2004, the actors Jordi Rebellón and Ginés García Millán, were awarded, ex aequo, the title of “Rabalianos of the year”.

The year 2005, the Association decided to continue in the world of sets and theatre. Jose Sacristán, that shared the limelight with Paco Rabal in “Epílogo”, an unforgettable film with a great story, is one of the stars that shines in the Francisco Rabal´s universe.

Besides this film, that was directed by Gonzalo Suárez in 1984, Rabal and Sacristán worked together in other films as: “La colmena” (The Beehive) Mario Camus, 1982, “Las largas vacaciones del 36” (The Long Holiday of 1936) Jaime Camino, 1976 or “Sangre en el ruedo”(Blood in the Bullring) Rafael Gil,1969.

José Sacristán, has confirmed his presence in the event, and will receive the nomination tomorrow, Saturday, during the commemorative dinner of the 3rd anniversary of the Association in the Hotel CalaReal.
